Woo hoo

Last night I discovered how to change the manual settings on my compact camera, and was able to put it on a slow speed, I took a photo of the Christmas tree and came out with this.


Then I thought about drawing words and pictures with a single light (couldn't find my lil torch anywhere) so I used a match ( yes mum always told me never to play with matches as well) Firstly I drew a circle, then tried my name but only managed Lou. I really love the glowing effect and thought to myself wouldn't it be so cool if the word today on HS:MS was glow or light then I could use them...................

.........................Well guess what the word was today.............................. GLOW.

I like loads of photos that I have taken, these may not be my 'best' of 2007 but they are favorite ones.

Today I've been busy painting ceilings, putting up light shades and hanging pictures, I'm shattered so am now going to chill out, put my feet up and open up a tin of choccies lol. Over at HS:MS the prompt was win, I wondered what I could photograph when this dropped on my doormat.

This time next week........

........it'll be Christmas day which means theres only 2 weeks of 2007 left! Better start thinking about my new years resolutions, like loose weight, but people only say that to give them an exuse to scoff at christmas, its true I do it myself. We are going to Darrens mums this year, which is good because I dont have to cook. Will miss my family though this is the third year in a row we haven't spent christmas together.

Today is Sunday, outside is cold and frosty, and as soon as Ive posted here I'm off to the kitchen to make bacon and eggs and maybe some mushrooms and beans too... I love Sunday's it means I get to spend a full day with Darren. Anyway Sundays on HS:MS is show off day, so I'm showing these photos I took of my dog Chance on Friday evening, he's not a posing pooch, but luckily he was tired enough to lay still for these.

Well today is Saturday which mean self portrait day on HS:MS, and I have a huge spot on my nose so I opted for a close up that doesn't show it lol. Also yesterdays word prompt was puddle and as its been dry here I had to use an inside puddle. Have a great weekend all.

Amy Bear

My sister bought me this bear for my birthday a few years ago, its special to me as, although 13 years between us, we are very close. Being almost 400 miles away from her is tough so she sent me this bear attached with a this little gift card which if you cant make out says;
To wheezy, Happy b'day, luv Holly PS. when your feeling down look at Mrs bear or what ever you want to call her and she will remind you of me and hopefully that shall put a smile on your face.

Bless her lil heart she was 12 at the time.

Laces

Two pieces of string to assist in the fastening of shoes and clothing. Have you got some laces in your space?

Although rather grubby there laces right enough, not mine though I prefer Velcro its easier lol.

Moonlight

Today's prompt one her space : my space was moonlight, A very hard one as it has been so cloudy the whole day, and there was no moon to be seen. With little moonlight around this is the best I could do, with a little help from the flash.

Woo hoo finally after getting a reasonable camera for my birthday I decided to join in with the photo challenges over on her space : my space, I went a little photo made as I played catch up with some of the previous challenges. I'm new at this so hope to get better with time ;-)

Not really frosty outside yet, but my freezer is looking pretty frosty, must remember to defrost it before the Christmas shop.
